In an effort to increase more interest in our National Events, I suggest that we offer an Award with accompanying Grant to a deserving child or grandchild of a USTMAAA member during the Grand Reunion. I suggest naming this the "Junior Thomasian Excellence Award". 

Criteria:

• Excellence in areas of various endeavors including academics, sports, arts, entertainment, volunteerism, charitable work, etc
  
• Direct descendant of a USTMAAA member
• Must be present during the Grand Reunion to be considered for the Award. They can be introduced during the Talent Night (Informal Night)
• Must be present to receive the Award during the Gala Dinner
• Unrestricted grant (the amount to be determined and raised through a campaign for donation,hopefully $1000-$5000. I am in for $500.) will be given with the Award
